Today’s photo from the hip comes from Niagara Falls, Canada. We spotted a Mennonite family enjoying the sights and sounds of the very tacky tourist strip at the falls. It was an interesting contrast.

awesome!! i love Mennonites and Amish! In Indiana we have special parking spots at Walmart for them to tie up their buggies!!
What?! That’s so cool. There aren’t many (any?) Mennonite/Amish communities where I’m from so it was a new experience for me. Definitely a fascinating lifestyle I’d like to learn more about.
